Black & Decker Lithium Pivot™ Vac Review

Anyone with a craft room or studio knows that keeping it clean is a challenge.  With stray threads, paper bits and flying glitter, my QuiltedCupcake  studio can get very messy sometimes, making it hard for me to be productive.

I just found a new tool that makes cleaning so much easier (and maybe even fun) – it’s the Black & Decker 20V MAX Lithium Pivot™ Vac.  It’s a cordless rechargeable vacuum that I recently had the chance to review, and I have to say – I LOVE it!

Black and Decker Lithium VAC

The Black & Decker Lithium Pivot™ Vac has a lot of power and suction to clean up all of my craft room messes.  I’ve used it on beads, thread, small pieces of fabric, crepe paper, paper punch debris and more with terrific results.  This baby even cleaned up a glitter spill with no problem – I was impressed.

It’s also a great vac for use throughout the house – terrific for cleaning my new wooden stairs.  Bye bye dust bunnies!  The on-board tools are a nice addition, and the pivoting head allows you to reach high places and in weird angles with ease.

Emptying it also quick and easy. And, if you accidentally sucked up a button or project piece, you can easily find it before emptying the rest of the debris into the trash.

Like most people, I’ve had previous experience with the DustBuster type cordless vacs, with limited to mixed results.  This new Lithium Pivot Vac is so much better – no comparison at all.  Using this new Black & Decker vac, I was easily able to clean out the floor mats in my van, something that most other vacs can’t handle.   It’s a huge improvement over any other handheld cordless vac I’ve ever used.

Finally, it’s a sleek new design that I really like – it even appeals to my artists’ eye.  You can store it on the charging base, so it’s always ready.   Mine now lives in my craft room, and it’s one of the best additions I’ve made to my QuiltedCupcake studio all year.

The MSRP for the Black & Decker 20V MAX* Lithium Pivot™ Vac is $79.99, but I’ve seen it listed for between $65 and $72.   Click here to see a list of retailers where you can buy it now.  The Black & Decker 20V MAX* Lithium Pivot™ Vac is an incredible value, and I highly recommend it!
