Xyron Sticker Maker Review

You may have noticed that in addition to Quilted Cupcake sewing projects (and knitting and mixed media, and crochet), I’ve also been HUGE into paper crafting lately.  I have a core of scrapbook buddies that stuck with me even when I was selling off most of my scrapbook supplies.  I just took my sewing machine to crops with me.

Well, I’m back, baby.  I even changed my QuiltedCupcake Etsy shop to include both fabric garlands and paper rosettes and banners.  The Frozen party supplies are so much fun to make!

Enter the Xyron sticker makers back into my life.  I had the original Xyron 12″ machine back in the 90’s (bought full price on QVC of course). But, I gave it to my son’s school when I stopped scrapbooking.

Now, Xyron is portable and much easier to use.  I had the chance to try out two new Xyron products, the Mega Runner and the 3″ Sticker Maker.  They’re both must-haves in my Quilted Cupcake studio now.  How else would you adhere snowflakes or these letters to a banner without making a sticky, gluey mess?  Here are some pictures of my test projects:

With the Xyron products, I can simply run the letters through the Sticker maker for smaller banners or use the Mega Runner for larger letters, photos or shapes.  No plugs, no mess.  Love that.

I like that the Mega Runner is refillable, and the Sticker Maker is recyclable.  I use them so much more because they’re easy to carry and refill (or not).  Just remember to run your fingers over the top of the clear sheet when the letters come out of the sticker maker.  You won’t find a more efficient or easier way to add stickiness to your paper projects.

Disclaimer:  I received a Mega Runner and 3″ Sticker Maker in order to complete this review.  The opinions expressed above are all mine.   🙂
