I absolutely LOVE my Cricut Explore cutting machine. I bought it in May, even though I already had purchased the Cricut Expression 2 in December. Not sorry about it even a little bit. The Explore rocks! I use it all. the. time.
Here’s an easy canvas I made using the Cricut Explore and some Dollar Store gift wrap.
The free Cricut Design Space program that’s cloud-based is easy to design projects. So, making a mixed media canvas like this was very easy. I covered the canvas with aqua blue chevron gift wrap from Dollar Tree, using lots of Mod Podge. I cut the letters and arrows on the Cricut, and adhered them with Mod Podge, followed by a final sealing coat of the podge.
It’s a big canvas (18 x 24″) that now greets me every day in my bathroom. I wanted artwork that would survive the humidity of a bathroom, so I figured a ModPodge-covered canvas would do the trick.
Not sure if this will work, but here’s the link to the Design Space file I used to create the canvas: https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/project/20640174 I think if you click on that, it should take you to Design Space and the project (only works for Explore).
