I spent this weekend working on several Spring craft projects. Modge Podge seems to be my new best friend. Oh, and hot glue and book print.
I saw the bunny on the far left at Marshall’s, but I wasn’t willing to pay $16 for it. After trips to Hobby Lobby, Michael’s and Joann with no luck in finding one of those cardboard shapes to decorate, I went to my old favorite, the thrift store to find the ceramic bunny in the middle picture.
I pulled some pages out of a Dollar Store dictionary, and covered the whole thing with Modge Podged paper. I think I now like my version better! And, it cost $1.50! Who knew you could decoupage on ceramic?
My friend Kathy introduced me to the Spark the Event Online classes by Margie Romney-Aslett. LOVE THEM! I took the Spark Your Spring 2012 class this weekend and it inspired me to finally make the paper flowers I’ve had on my mind forever.
