Valentine String Quilt: Work in Progress
I started this string diamond quilt a long time ago (January), and had about half of the blocks pieced. With my time off, I finally finished the remaining 26 this week. I’m so in love with it! The pattern is called “Valentine” from Elizabeth Hartman’s The Practical Guide to Patchwork: New Basics for the Modern Quiltmaker
– I reviewed the book on Episode 40 of the podcast.
I’m thinking about turning it into a duvet cover, rather than a quilt. Any thoughts? Should I worry about not quilting down all those bias strips? I’ll need to wash this regularly, so any input would be helpful.
